The Expiatory Victims of Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament thus recognized the particular charism of Maria Cristina Brando, eager to make an authentic Eucharistic and Marian spirituality alive in the Church. From its foundation this ideal was also extended to the layman in Mugnano di Napoli, encouraging an associative form of believers which, in 1992, the centenary of the Congregation, took the name of "Eucharistic Adoratrices". Considering the apostolic fruitfulness of the initiative, in accordance with the Code of Canon Law, the lay Association "Maria Cristina Brando" is established, placed under the patronage of Santa Maria Cristina Brando.

To ask the Christian community to fully and consciously participate in the Eucharistic life and in a special way in the reparatory adoration of Jesus present in the Sacrament of the Altar, they propose to join the Association for the baptized faithful who wish to consecrate themselves to the good of the Church in the spirit of the Family of the Expiatory Victims of Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament. They can testify the invitation to follow Jesus more closely, taking their cross every day, while remaining in the condition of life that corresponds to their vocation.
